Mercedes Benz has unleashed one of the biggest craze this year, the all new 2009 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster 722 S. The new Roadster 722 S is powered by a 5.5L V8 AMG engine delivering 650 horsepower and maximum torque of 604 lb-ft. The engine is associated with a five speed automatic transmission which is designed for high performance. The car accelerates from 0 up to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 335 kilometers per hour. Mercedes claims that this two-seater car's soft-top is capable of withstanding high speeds exceeding 200 miles per hour which is made of carbon fiber.

With a rigid spring and shock absorber configurations on its suspension, the SLR McLaren Roadster 722 S body is lowered by 10mm on its front and rear, making it sure that the car has a guaranteed handling stability. A 19-inch lightweight forged aluminum wheels allows a nice view of the red painted brake calipers made from a highly-resistant carbon fiber ceramic brake discs.

There will only be 150 limited-edition 2009 Mercedes-Benz SLR Roadster 722 S models to be sold.

Mercedes Benz has unleashed the new 2009 Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series as its most powerful road car to date. This 2009 Mercedes-Benz is equipped with a more powerful and paramount 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 that delivers 661 bhp and 738 lb-ft of torque. A carbon fiber hood, fixed roof, fenders and trunk has reduced it weight by 550 pounds. It holds a larger turbochargers, a more rationalize inter-cooler and modified exhausts to boost power by 57 hp to 670 hp.

Performance design are experimental, and AMG recommend that testing has yet to be settled. Though, Mercedes-Benz claims the SL65 AMG Black Series will accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in less than "3.9 seconds" and attain a top speed limit of 199 miles per hour. In similarity, the standard SL65 AMG figures are 0 to 60 miles per hour in less than 4.2 seconds and a limited 155 miles per hour top speed. The SL65 AMG Black Series, to be priced at around $320,000, slots into the Mercedes-Benz lineup as an indirect substitute for the McLaren-built SLR coupe, which quietly discontinue production late last year upon the debut of the SLR roadster.
