All models offer standard 6 speed manual and a 6 speed auto for $1050 extra.

Good prices for a great car.
Here are all the official pricing details, for those interested in the new 3:

A body-color rear deck lip spoiler becomes standard on sedans while a rear roof spoiler is fitted onto five-door models. 2014 BMW i3

This is it.
The real thing. Not the concept.

BMW had just announced US pricing which will start at $42 000. Which means about $32 000 after incentives (at least in California)
Which isn't bad at all. Figure at least $2000 extra for the small range extender engine, which I think is well worth it.
Most people might not like it but I do. I think it stays true to the concept. And it does look like something special.
The interior also seems really futuristic. As it should be, since we do live in 2013.

Maybe a longer version is needed soon? That back seat leg room looks awfully small...

New Cadillac logo coming up?

Apparently, Cadillac is thinking about a new logo.
Not a bad idea, since their cars are new really modern looking. That logo is getting very old fashion.

They are actually thinking about getting rid of the laurel wraiths.

What do you think? Which one of these should inspire the new one?

And... How a bout a small change for the Chevy logo too while they're at it. (Like getting rid of the gold.)

Seat Leon ST

For some reason, ST stands for "wagon".

The new Leon hatchback is already a good looking car. Like a better looking Golf.
And the wagon version is like a better looking Golf Wagon. The car we know here as the Jetta Sportwagen. (Which should be replaced soon by the new version of the Euro Golf Wagon...)

The whole thing just looks so much better than our Jetta. Especially inside.

The new Leon is based on VW's new MQB platform. Also used in the new Golf VII, and 2014 Audi A3.
The next Audi TT will also be based on the MQB.

2014 Kia Sportage

Another case of "Why bother". Really...
Why spend money in such little changes. The current Sportage is a good looking car.
And a nice driving one too.

At least they didn't ruin anything....

Chinese Chan-gan CS75 SUV

Some new Chinese SUV is coming out soon. From Chan-gan.
A brand I have never heard of...

I think it looks pretty nice, at least on this spy shot. Actually better than many recent japanese designs.

Even though it is said to be quite large, power will come from small 1.8 and 2.0 Liter engines.

It is based on the Reaton sedan. Itself looking like a Lexus ES copy...

2014 Chevrolet Impala test drive coming up

I am driving the new Impala this week.
The one with the smaller 2.5 Liter engine.

So far, a pleasure to drive.
