2014 Lexus GX

 No surprises. It is now the GX's turn to get the new Lexus front end. I guess that means the aging trucky SUV will be around for another coupe of years or so.
Although Lexus is planning an all new 7 seater Crossover for next year. Similar to the Pathfinder based Infiniti QX60.

The lower pic is the 2013 model. As you can see they didn't even upgrade the interior at all.
Still has that complicated/ugly/fake luxury 80's style design.

The 2014 Model starts at around $50 000. Almost $5000 less than last year. A new "Luxury grade" version starts at around $60 000.
Still facing stiff of competition at these prices. From the previously mentioned $41 000 QX60 to the $63 000 Range Rover Sport.

New Volkswagen Golf Plus





The new Golf Plus is expected to come out late to next year. It will undoubtedly be based on the MQB architecture and will be powered by all sort of different engines, ranging from a base 1.2-liter TSI with 85 hp to a very decent 2.0-liter TDI with 150 hp. Although thickly padded in camouflage, this prototype does let us peak at the design. The wheel design is also taken directly from the Golf, but the tailgate is something completely new. Compared to a regular Golf you have a lot more space to relax, and compared to a Variant, it's shorter and easier to use in the city.

Volkswagen has made R-badge Golf longer than expectation. Set to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show, now just weeks away, the new Golf R acks a whopping 296 horsepower.

That's not just more than the 286 hp we expected or more than a proportionate increase over its predecessors: Compare that figure to the 237 hp in the first Golf R32, the 247 hp in the one that followed and the 261 hp in the outgoing Golf R, and you'll realize that the new output doesn't just represent a bigger leap than Volkswagen R GmbH has ever taken before, it's bigger than the entire progress of the line until now.

The suspension of 0.78 inches compared to the Mk7 Golf on which it is based (0.2 inches lower than the GTI) decreased the aerodynamic kit similar to the R-Line, the looks we saw previously, dual exhaust pipes protrude from the diffuser in the back and buyers can opt for 18- or 19-inch wheels.

2014 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible

GM finally released official pictured of the revised 2014 Camaro convertible.
Nothing unexpected since we've seen the new front end on the coupe a few months ago.

Different isn't always better. I really don't think the new front in an improvement. And the rear lights (Not really seen here) make the car much more generic looking than before.

Also weird they picked a German auto show to reveal a car that is sold in Europe in such small numbers.

I like the Camaro, but it might have a tough time against the all new Mustang coming out in just a few months...
