GM has announced a $5000 price cut on the Volt. Starting with the 2014 model year.
So it now starts at $35 000. Plus up to $10 000 incentives which puts the new price in the mid-20's.
Not bad at all.
I test drove the Volt twice and really like it. I think it is still a much more practical alternative to a pure electric car. And can serve as a main, or only car.
But I still think leasing is the way to go as far as new technology goes. It gets better and cheaper every year.
Although I welcome a huge price cut, I can't imagine what it does to the resale value of a 2012 or 2013 model.
Otherwise, only small changes for the new year (Like the new color pictured above).
And still, no sunroof option....
