I have heard rumors a while ago about a coupe based on the new 6, but nothing recently.
Also, the coupe market seems to be shrinking. As Nissan gave up on its 2 door version of the Altima.
So who knows. I do like 2 door cars and I think it would be a great idea for Mazda. But maybe the next Miata is all they need.
